Srikant Nannapaneni, MD, MPH, is a Board-Certified physician specializing in Critical Care and Sleep with over 15 years of experience providing health care to patients of all ages. In the Intensive Care Unit, Dr. Nannapaneni provides care to critically ill patients with conditions such as respiratory failure, heart failure, septic shock, gastrointestinal bleeding, renal failure, stroke, cerebral hemorrhage etc.

Dr. Nannapaneni is also a champion of treatment for patients with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), sleep study interpretations, and various sleep-related disorders.

Education

Dr. Nannapaneni received his medical degree from Kurnool Medical College, India and Internal Medicine training at Unity Health System an affiliate of The University of Rochester School of Medicine in Rochester, New York. He specialized in Critical Care and Sleep Medicine from The Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Along with his degrees, Dr. Nannapaneni has been honored with several awards, including but not limited to, Recognition as Fellow Teacher of the Year Award; Winner, Case Report on Atypical Presentations in ICU; Winner, Best Quality Improvement Project; Resident Humanistic Award; Certificate of Appreciation: State of Louisiana; Certificate of Recognition: Mayor of New Orleans, and several others. Dr. Nannapaneni has participated in several presentations at the National and Regional levels, covering various topics such as Role of in-hospital evaluation for sleep apnea and associated outcomes after discharge. Aside from developing numerous critically-appraised publications, Dr. Nannapaneni holds professional affiliations with groups such as Society of Critical Care Medicine, American Academy of Sleep Medicine, and Medical Council of Andhra Pradesh, India.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Nannapaneni enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, taking road trips, and watching action oriented movies.
