Envision is seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our dynamic group of providers at Medical City Dallas in the Pediatric Emergency Department.
Overview: As a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality, compassionate care to pediatric patients in our Emergency Department. Working alongside a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, and support staff, you will assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of pediatric medical conditions and emergencies.

39,000-volume Pediatric Emergency Department
19 Pediatric ED Beds + 2 dedicated triage Spaces
9-hour shifts
Meditech EMR
Collaborative team of PEM-trained physicians and pediatric-focused APPs providing 24/7 coverage
Pediatric sub-specialties include cardiology, cardiac surgery, GI, hematology/oncology, nephrology, neurology, neurosurgery, orthopedics, ENT, surgery, urology, and plastic surgery
- Current licensure / Certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (preferred)
Facility Information
Medical City Children's Hospital is a 254-bed, tertiary care children's hospital and the flagship pediatric facility of Medical City Healthcare. The hospital is home to nationally recognized pediatric programs, including a 37-bed pediatric medical-surgical unit, PICU, CVICU, and advanced ECMO capabilities. Physicians work alongside a highly skilled team of pediatric subspecialists across nearly every discipline, including surgery, cardiology, neurology, nephrology, pulmonology, hematology-oncology, and infectious disease.
Situated on the Medical City Dallas campus, the hospital provides seamless access to a Level IV NICU, adult specialty services, and comprehensive women's and infant care, creating a uniquely integrated healthcare destination for patients across every stage of life.
