Gene Veley, M.D., FCCP, is a Board-Certified physician specializing in Critical Care, Pulmonary, and Internal Medicine with over 12 years of experience providing health care to patients of all ages. Dr. Veley performs care to patients involved with, but not limited to, pulmonary hypertension, heart and lung transplant, tertiary pulmonary and critical care, and various community-associated pulmonary infections.
Dr. Veley received his medical degree in Pulmonary and Critical Care from Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York, New York, and his degree in Internal Medicine from The University of Connecticut John Dempsey Medical Center in Farmington, Connecticut. Not only has Dr. Veley been honored with The Critical Care Instructor of the Year award, but he has served with various affiliations, including but not limited to, the American Stroke Association Stroke Committee, American Association of Bronchology, Society of Critical Care Medicine and the American Thoracic Society. Outside of medicine, Dr. Veley enjoys biking and spending quality time with his family.
