Farooq Sattar, M.D., is a Board-Certified physician specializing in Critical Care, Pulmonary & Sleep Medicine with over 15 years of experience. Dr. Sattar performs care to patients with a broad variety of patient including COPD, asthma, bronchiectasis, lung infections including pneumonia, Sleep apnea, Obesity related breathing disorders, Lung cancer and critical care.
Dr. Sattar received his Fellowship Training in Pulmonary and Critical Care from The University of Texas Medical Branch and his degree in Internal Medicine from Michigan State University. He has also served as Adjunct Faculty for Ohio State University school of medicine teaching medical students. Not only has Dr. Sattar been honored with the esteemed President’s Scholarship, he has also been recognized for various presentations at the American College of Chest Physicians Annual International meeting and American Thoracic society meeting discussing topics like Obesity Hypoventilation Syndrome and infections in Lung transplant patients.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Sattar enjoys spending time with his wife and children, in addition to hobbies such as gardening, traveling and reading.
